WHAT DOES A TRIP ON SIESTA CHARTERS LOOK LIKE?
When I am on vacation I always enjoy complete transparency and clear expectations. I want everyone to have a great time and feel like vacation dollars were well spent.
I enjoy casual fishing and providing a comfortable boat for everyone in the family to be happy. If some of your party wants to fish and some of your party wants to relax and get a tan, I'm your guy! I enjoy family friendly trips without expectations of trophy fish or non stop action. We are here to enjoy a day on the water and fish are a bonus! All that being said, I love catching fish when the fishing is good and I will get us on what I can.
I also enjoy just taking a cruise for dolphins, sight seeing, manatees, and lunch on the water. I love getting to a sandbar that has no one else on it and letting guests take a swim while finding sand dollars and shells.
I found the perfect boat that provides nice seating and fishability to keep everyone in the family happy!

CASUAL FISHING CHARTER

A day in Sarasota Bay and nearshore Gulf of Mexico. Possible species include Snook, Trout, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, and others. We will check weather and tides and make a plan to make the most of the time spent on the water.

This is my favorite way to entertain guests! Let me show you around our area without you having the stress of renting a boat. We can idle the intracoastal waterway, cruise in the gulf, hop from sandbar to sandbar, and visit our world class beaches. I'll always have rods on the boat for some quick fishing too.

I have been fortunate to grow up here in Sarasota and be able to enjoy the water which so many visitors come to see. Being able to bring guests out on my boat to share it with has been very rewarding. I am a full-time Firefighter/paramedic locally and a US Coast Guard licensed Captain and spend almost all of my free time on the water.
Although most of the pics are on a pathfinder, we have upgraded to a Robalo 246. It is 24'6" long and 9' wide which is huge for a bay boat! It has a forward seating area, seat backs, with an optional table and shade for guests. The gunnels are high with padded bolsters and lots of safe area for kids. If some of your party wants to fish and some want to relax we have room for both.

I charge 550 dollars for 4 hours. That includes bait, tackle, fishing licenses, ice, and waters. Due to the extreme email/call spam we all deal with the easiest way to contact me is a quick text with name, dates you're interested in coming out, and a summary of what you're looking for or if you'd like a call back.

FAQ
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING?
I can accommodate up to 6 guests for a sight seeing/fun day. When it comes to fishing 4 is the most. If you have a group of 5 or 6 and a few of you would like to fish a little bit during the cruise we can make that happen.
WHERE DO YOU PICK UP?
There are multiple locations I can meet guests and I'll base that on where you are staying during your visit to make it convenient for you.
CAN WE TAKE HOME FISH TO EAT?
Our fishery took a big insult with the last couple of red tide incidents. I'd prefer catch and release so that everything has a better chance of repopulating. However, if you have a small group and would like a few filets for the novelty of eating fresh fish on your vacation I don't mind.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
I'm extremely casual. I don't need a deposit and if you change plans and cannot make it just let me know and I'll enjoy a day off!
